Born and raised in Aspen, Colorado, Newhard has been painting for over a decade. With a passion for capturing the essence of the natural world, she has emerged as a contemporary artist whose work expresses the relationship between structure and movement. Newhard currently resides and creates her works in the heart of Manhattan, where she specializes primarily in oil and acrylic paintings.​​
